Mountain rescue volunteer killed in training accident in Wales

A member of the Dublin/Wicklow mountain rescue team has died in a training accident in Wales.

The accident happened yesterday morning, September 30th, during a team training event on the Crib Goch route in Snowdonia, North Wales.

The Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team issued a statement on Sunday afternoon.

“The members of Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT) are deeply shocked following the tragic loss of our dear friend and teammate, Kevin Hallahan, in a fatal accident.”
