Katie Taylor will still box for a world title in Cardiff tomorrow tonight despite WBA lightweight champion Anahi Sanchez missing weight for the Principality Stadium encounter.
Sanchez tipped the scales one pound over the weight and was unable to shed the excess weight within the allocated time.
As a result, the fight will go ahead and Taylor can still claim the now vacant belt with victory.
The Bray fighter tipped the scales at 9st 8.5lbs, while the Argentinian was initially 9st 10lbs, which means she will have to relinquish the belt.
