Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Mary Edwards, Croneyhorn nee Handrick, Bunclody who died during the week, her remains were removed to Tomacork on Wednesday for 2pm mass, followed by burial in adjoining grave yard.
To the family and relatives of Mrs Shelia Brennan, Loughlin Bridge and formely of Main Street, Carnew who died during the week, her remains were removed to Carnew on Thursday for 2pm mass followed by burial in Tomacork cemetery.

The Carnew Emmet’s GAA Juvenile Club AGM will be held in early December, We are now putting together the annual report and are seeking any questions or suggestions for inclusion in the agenda for the night. The AGM is the night on which important decisions regarding the club going forward are made. We would appreciate a full attendance from parents/guardians and interested parties and invite people to take this opportunity to make their opinions heard.
We would also invite people who are available to help out as mentors across all juvenile age categories from 5 -17 to come to the AGM and/or let us know that they are available.

Carnew Musical Society – Sister Act 50th Anniversary Year Production
St. Brigid’s Hall is now ready to rock and roll to the music of Sister Act running from November 27th in Carnew, This will be Carnew Musical Society’s 50th anniversary year production and one not to be missed and includes songs such as Take me too Heaven, Raise your Voice, Fabulous Baby, Sister Act, Spread the love around and Sunday Morning Fever.
As well as great music, Sister Act is hilariously funny and will be a great hit with the audiences. Naoimh Penston from Arklow, is both Musical Director and will the role of Deloris is teaching the nuns and the men of course…how to groove, while Graham Finnerty is teaching us all how to move to the groove as choreographer and Michael Dunbar as director is getting out the dramatic action and comedy .

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
There will be a Christmas bazaar in Shillelagh Courthouse on Saturday 2nd December from 3-8pm, stalls include flowers, cakes, bread, knitwear, books, antiques, bric a brac, vegetables, jewellery and much more, proceeds in aid of Shillelagh Christmas lights and Wicklow Animal welfare, post your letter to Santa – free, say hello to the good man himself. Raffle for a trailer of logs, carol singing from 5-6pm, tea, coffee and cakes served.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The Willoughby Brothers are holding a Christmas concert on Sunday 10th December in Kilrush church starting at 8pm, tickets €20 from parish office or available after masses, or Victor Young’s, Main Street, Carnew.
