Hot Spot Music Club:  The Electric Experience:  Jimi Hendrix Tribute

Above the Beach House at Greystones Harbour Marina.

Authentic and sensitive tribute to Jimi Hendrix.

The band has a solid old-school approach + deliver real analogue sound of the 60s.

They perform Jimi’s songs note-for-note paying homage to his song-writing.

Performance is interspersed with short anecdotes about Jimi and stories of the songs.

Set-list is made up of 20 of Jimi’s greatest and most recognisable classics.

The Electric Experience is a painstakingly detailed project aimed at creating a live journey.

Showcase concert for the wonderful young musicians at DoMiSo.

Some of the students are ones who founded the school in September 2005.

Concert will showcase many instruments of the orchestra.

Perfect opportunity to bring young children who could consider learning an instrument.

Great way to motivate young children to play music is by watching other children.

DoMiSo is a kindermusic school,  offering group lessons for babies up to 2nd class.

Independent wonderful musicians are available to teach music in the area.

Catharsis Vol. 1 is the third solo album from John Blek,  Ireland based song-writer.

John is best known for his work with his band,  John Blek & The Rats.

John has begun a new journey influenced by the folk music of Ireland,  Britain and the US.

With his solo work,  he delves into the world of fingerstyle guitar.

He reveals deeply personal and poignant lyrical aspects of his character.

Hot Spot Music Club: Indie Folk Group:  Orla Travers & Julian Halpin

Indie folk group SILLK are setting a tone and creating a texture all of their own in 2017.

Band formed out of Orla Travers’ necessity to tell stories and sing songs.

She and Julian Halpin got together in 2010 and have travelled all over Ireland.

With their varied backgrounds,  their infectiously fun live show has gained them world fans.
