The Whale Theatre, Greystones presents Connections, a series of four 1-act plays running from Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th November.

After their successful production of Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa last May, Greystones Players are back with a new production. Connections is a diverse and entertaining evening of four 1-act plays exploring love, relationships and our expectations of theatre.

The programme includes While the Auto Waits, adapted from O. Henry’s short story by Walter Wykes; Sure Thing by David Ives; Post-Its by Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman; and Audience, Michael Frayn’s examination of the nature of theatre and audience expectations.

There will be some familiar Players taking part in this production, as well as some of the more recent members. Greystones Players is a community theatre group supported by the Whale Theatre and Greystones Studios @ Theatre Lane.

Performances are at 8pm each evening (doors at 7pm), and tickets are €12. For more information, go to www.whaletheatre.ie or email ask@whaletheatre.ie.
