Irish water has confirmed that they will soon be in a position to issue refunds to customers who paid their water charges.
Legislation that will allow the refunds is due by the end of the month and the utility have said that once that happens the refunds will be fast.
Over one million customers are due refunds and full refunds will be issued to account holders – via cheque.
Customers who are due refunds don’t need to contact Irish water as all customers due a refund will receive it as long as their circumstances hasn’t changed.
