Rebecca O’Connor of East Coast FM News reports 10 properties in Dublin and Wicklow have been searched by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
It’s part of an operation against organised crime, with the Kinahan gang understood to be the targets of this morning’s searches.
9 properties in Inchicore, Drimnagh and Finglas and 1 in Co. Wicklow were searched and are described as professional offices.
Three high powered cars were seized as was almost 30 thousand euro in cash, 20 designer watches, and a small quantity of cocaine and cannabis.
Professional diamond measuring equipment was also part of the seizure.
Over 20 thousand euro has been frozen in financial institutions.
