FREE GREYSTONES TWO HOUR PARKING FOR SATURDAYS IN DECEMBER

Once again,  there will be free two hour parking in Greystones on December Saturdays.

Reminder that cars must be otherwise lawfully parked.

That is,  no parking on double yellow lines;  no parking in loading zones.

Or any other unauthorised places.

Come along to Greystones and make it your first stop for Christmas shopping !!

Lots of terrific shops with wide variety of wonderful items.

CECIL BEARE ECUMENICAL CAROL SINGING IS BACK FOR CHRISTMAS 2017 !!

Why not come along,  even for a few nights,  and join this long established group ??

This carol singing group is a well established Christmas tradition.

Meeting time each evening is 7.30 pm.

No need to be a good singer.

Please bring gloves and a torch,  wrap up warmly !!

All proceeds go to local charities.

BRAY LIONS CLUB CHILDREN’S BUNDLE OF FUN

Rachel Casey has been chosen as Bray Lions Club Youth Ambassador.

She now goes forward to the national competition.

Rachel’s project is Children’s Bundle of Fun.

As a survivor of childhood cancer,  Rachel knows what it is like to be a patient.

She is collecting unwanted Christmas presents and toys for sick children.

Rachel was a Greystones Person of the Year 2017.

She has received a Garda Youth Award.

She has represented Ireland in China on a cultural trip.

She excels at Athletics and is a Member of Greystones Rowing Club.

Can you help Rachel ??

Please save your new unwanted items.  Items cannot be second hand due to infections risk.

Just about anything for babies,  toddlers,  small children and teenagers is welcome.

CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER FOR WICKLOW HOMELESS FIVE LOAVES

Yes !!  Once again, Bochelli’s Italian Restaurant will open its doors on Christmas Day.

Homeless and less fortunate local people from Bray to Wicklow Town will be along.

There will be a big welcome for them.

Bochelli’s was able to help them last year,  can you help them this year ??

You can Give Back by helping with financial donations or donations of clothing items.

Hats,  scarves,  gloves,  warm clothing,  shoes,  books,  socks and underwear.

Toiletries and grooming kits:  shower gels,  toothbruh/toothpaste.

These can be used to make up goodie bags.

Hot Spot Music Club:  An Intimate Evening with Mary Coughlan

Mary Coughlan and her band are bringing her new show Live & Kicking to the Hot Spot.

Up close and personal performance.

Tour is a celebration of Mary’s 30 plus years in the music business.

Her music career has been a roller coaster and this concert will reflect that.

It will feature all the songs that are close to Mary’s heart and life.

Mary’s seemingly timeless and endless talent and drawl have always been a seduction.

Mary’s voice has always been an unforeseen,  sudden seduction.

That is why she is so loved.
