Little Acorns playschool and after school registration night will take place on Wednesday 31st January at 7.30pm in the playschool, limited places available.
SPLIT THE POT
The winner of Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew Split the Pot of 19th January was Mary Walsh winning €232, tickets available from the school or local shops.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Maureen Brennan, Nee Hickey, Fern Lodge who died during the week, her remains were removed to Carnew on Wednesday for 2pm mass, followed by burial in Tomacork cemetery.
To the family and relatives of Damien Doyle, Millbank, Shillelagh who died during the week and was buried on Wednesday in Shillelagh.
TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sunday February 4 the walk is at Annagh Hill. Grade B, 9k, 3 hours, meeting at Tinahely 10.00 or The Gap at 10.15. On Feb 11 the walk is at Lowbawn-Little Sugarloaf. Grade B, 14km, 3.5 hours. Meeting in Tinahely at 10.00. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear.
Best of luck to the u14, 12 and two u10 draught teams who will compete in the county championship this weekend in Bree under the guidance of James Tomkins. Training for badminton is underway and soccer training will be starting shortly. More details to follow.

Carnew and District Agricultural Show Society are holding a table quiz on Friday 2nd February at 8.30pm in Kenny’s Corner House, Carnew, €40 per table of four. Your support would be appreciated.
