GROW Ireland open new mental health support group in Wicklow Town

GROW Ireland opened a new metal health peer support group in Wicklow Town today.

GROW, a community-based mental health organisation, opened up their new support group in the De La Salle pastoral centre this afternoon.


They are one of the long-established mental health services in Ireland and have 120 support groups across Ireland, including Arklow and Bray. This year, they are celebrating their 50th anniversary, having set up their first support group 50 years ago.

GROW have said that their role in mental health is to “provide mutual help, support and encouragement to anyone experiencing mental health difficulties or struggling with any aspect of their mental wellbeing.”

The group will meet every Wednesday at 2:30pm and is free and confidential.
