Funding Workshops will be run by Wicklow County Council in the next few weeks to raise awareness of available grants for the revitalisation of rural areas.
Schemes such as the Town & Village Scheme, the Outdoor Recreation Scheme, CLAR and the Community Facilities Scheme are a package of funding opportunities that communities can access to finance projects in their areas.
These projects are part of an initiative under the Government’s Action Plan for Rural Development and is part of national and local support measures to rejuvenate rural towns and villages throughout Ireland.
The date, location and time of these workshops are as follows:
- Wednesday 31st Jan – Lawless Hotel, Aughrim @ 7.30pm
- Tuesday 6th Feb – Hollywood Hall @ 7.30pm
- Thursday 8th Feb – Glenview Hotel @ 7.30pm
