Roads leading to the Sally gap are impassable.
MET Eirenn have lifted the snow and ice warning but the Status Yellow wind waning remains in place.
Forecast: This morning there will be sunny spells and a few showers, some may be of sleet or snow on higher ground. Fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds will gradually moderate through the day. Later this afternoon and towards evening outbreaks of rain will spread eastwards and winds back south to southwest. Cold with afternoon temperatures of just 3 to 6 degrees.
