Made in Dublin with Peter Sheridan – Whale Theatre, Greystones – 7pm
Made In Dublin is a new one man show from writer, director and performer Peter Sheridan. Come to the Whale theatre for this dinner theatre event, for Sheridan’s account of a funny and warm account of a heart-breaking childhood in a Dublin working-class family and how this led to a career in Irish theatre. Tickets are €48 with dinner included.

Wicklow Needs More Rock – Upstairs in Tá Sés pub, Wicklow Town. – 8pm
Brought to you by the creators of ‘Rock in the Ruins’, Look To The Lady are back for a night of original music. If you missed their EP launch in Workmans Dublin, now is your chance to hear the new EP live, plus special guests. Entry is €2.

The Banjo & Bovril Trad & Folk Festival – The Harbour Bar, Bray – 25th-29th January
The ‘Banjo & Bovril’ Trad & Folk Festival is now in its 3rd year, showcasing fantastic Irish music with some of the country’s greatest purveyors of trad and folk. All gigs are FREE entry.


Aughrim Town & Country Market —The Pavillion, Aughrim Town – 10am-2pm
Stalls include meat, vegetables, cakes, eggs, plants, pottery, woodturning, knitwear, jam & even a tea/coffee area! Lots of local growers & craftspeople.

Bray One Act Drama Festival – Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray – 7:30pm
Bray One Act Drama Festival will bring a wonderful mix of comedy and drama to the stage. Performed by both newcomers and seasoned performers, the acts are sure to provide a night of entertainment, with all proceeds going to charitable causes. Tickets are €16 or €13 for concessions.


Burger Fest – Phil Healy’s Pub Wicklow Town
Burger fest, sponsored by Ballymaloe Relish, culminates on Sunday. Customers can get choice of seven different burgers, from ‘sweet home avocado, to ‘the starvin marvin breakfast burger’.

Family Dog Walk – Murrough car park, Wicklow Town – 1pm
Come down to the murrough to take part in this wonderful family event. Tea, coffee and cakes, and face painting will be available. There will also be prizes awarded for: best-dressed dog, best dog trick, and best-groomed dog. All proceeds will go to School of St. Jude, Tanzania. €5 per person or €10 per family
