Bray Wanderers relocate training base to Enniskerry for 2018 season

Enniskerry Youth Club AFC have announced that their facilities will be used by Bray Wanderers as a training base for the 2018 season.

In a statement on their Facebook page, Enniskerry YC said: “new manager Dave Mackey was very keen to base the team locally and the lads have been working hard the last few weeks in preparation for the new season.

“As part of this link up it has been agreed that Bray will regularly send players to coach our academy and underage teams.”

According to Enniskerry, the new arrangement also means that players coming out of under-18 football who are not ready for underage national league will be eligible to play with Enniskerry YC.

Dave Mackey will be joined by some of the Bray players in Berryfield tomorrow morning at 10:30am for the launch of the Patsy Carr academy.

Children are welcome to go along to the launch to meet the players, while children born between 2010 and 2014 are invited to take part.

Bray Wanderers kick-off their domestic campaign this Sunday when they play St. Patrick’s Athletic in the Leinster Senior Cup.
