Well established film club now has new venue !!

Fabulous films now available to watch in the magnificent Whale Theatre Greystones.

State-of-the-art projection and sound system.

Seating is limited to 60 per screening.

Boutique cinema nights will have tables and chairs,  waiter service and full bar.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE 2018

Parade commences at Greystones Park & Ride at 12:00 p.m.

Groups should gather at 11:30 a.m.

Parade proceeds through the town and up Church Road finishing at Victoria Road junction.

Reviewing stand at St. Patrick’s Church.

This year’s Greystones Parade will be bigger and better with your help.

Application forms and details are now available at Greystones Municipal District.

As usual,  Window Display Competition will be held in conjunction with the Parade.

Local businesses and organisations,  please decorate your windows for our National Day.

No application is needed for the Window Display Competition.

All decorated premises will be inspected and judged by an independent panel of judges.

Participation in the Window Display Competition will lend a festive air to the town.

It will also give visitors an opportunity to stop and admire.

Window Display Competition always generates good publicity for those who take part.

Irish German Society of County Wicklow General Meeting

Guest Speaker Archbishop Diarmuid Martin

Bray Town Hall;  7:30 p.m.

This will be the first meeting of the Society in 2018.

Guest Speaker will be Archbishop Diarmuid Martin who spoke in Wurzburg last July.

Dr. Martin was a guest of the Diocese of Wurzburg on the Feast of St. Kilian.

He spoke,  fluently in German,  to a wide and varied general audience.

His topic was The Challenge for the Church in the 21st Century.

Representatives from the Irish German Society were in attendance at the talk.

 

Society Members and also non Members are very welcome to come along.
