St. Patrick’s club notes week February 5th

The St Patrick’s Annual Dinner will take place in the Grand Hotel, Wicklow on Saturday 24th February 2018. All members past and present welcome!

Dinner 8pm sharp (Doors open 7.30pm ) with Music by Quest for Ted till late. Ticket Price €35.00
Tickets will be available this week in the Clubhouse this Friday Evening 9th February from 7pm until 9pm.

Two good wins for our juvenile footballers today in the first round of the Leinster league. Our u13s beat Eadestown from Kildare, while our U15s beat Kildavin Clonegal from Carlow .

Well done all and a big thank you to An Tochar and Kilcoole for use of their grounds.


Well done to our U12 Hurlers who travelled to Dublin on Saturday to take part in a blitz with Commercials, Cuala, and St. Vincent’s. The boys played well beating Commercials and Cuala before losing to Vincent’s in a tight battle in their final game.

St Patrick’s GAA Club Lotto results Monday 29th January 2018

Thanks to the weekly Club Lotto Sellers who give up their time to help raise funds for the Club. It’s greatly appreciated. The next draw is on Monday 5th February in the Clubhouse. Make sure you buy a ticket each week and you could be the winner of our Match 4 prize €4,500 or Match 5 €10,000 jackpot!

As part of club development and potential additional playing facilities, we are requesting that each age group team support the lotto selling rota by providing a team of 4 on their designated Saturday. Are any of you available to sell in the pubson Saturday nights from 9pm? Contact your team manager for details.


Our sincere condolences to the family of Humphrey (Charlie) Murphy of Marlton Road, Wicklow Town who passed away 31st January 2018 peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Brother of the late Billy, Nancy, Teresa, Mona and Paddy. He will be sadly missed by his loving sister Alice, brothers-in-law Mick Humby and Michael Dove, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Des Leech, Musician, Beaumont, Dublin, late of Hawkins Tailoring and President of Sean Treacy C.C.E who passed away peacefully at home January 31st 2018 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Mona and loving father of Dominic (LGFA Leinster President), Paul, Noreen and Stephen. Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Ruth, Carol and Kim, son-in-law Liam, grandchildren Sarah, Daragh, Danú, Tera and Rachel, sisters Mary and Ann, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
