Irish brothers Sean and Conor Price can’t wait for The X Factor 2018 Tour to begin, after they were voted the Wildcard act by the public.
The brothers, who live in Blessington Co. Wicklow, were eliminated from the ITV singing competition along with fellow contestant Sam Black during a double vote-off last year.
However, Sean (17) and Conor (15) start touring around the UK and Ireland this weekend, after the public chose them as the Wildcard act for the 2018 Tour.
Speaking about playing in their home country, Sean said: “We’re feeling unbelievable about playing in our home country. I’m sure Wicklow will be out in force – I hope the whole country is!
“It’s going to be unbelievable, I’ve seen concerts there [in Dublin’s 3Arena], and now we’re going to be playing on that actual stage.”
Sean and Conor still can’t believe the amount of support they’ve received from the public, and tell The Bite that people still stop them on the street.
“It’s unbelievable to be back together on tour and it’s just even better craic now. The atmosphere is just electric, everyone is loving each other,” Conor said about seeing their fellow X Factor contestants again. “We’re just so greatful to be back with our family.”
When the Tour wraps up, the boys hope to release some of their own music, revealing: “We’ll be doing our own gigs – hopefully we’ll have a tour in the summer, and we’ll be releasing our own music in between then.”
The X Factor Tour kicks off in Belfast on Friday (February 16), before heading to Dublin on Saturday – then returning to the UK.
