Aughrim

Active Retirement

Yoga is on next Tuesday with Louise. Our trip to the Dail will be on Thursday April 18th, time yet to be decided. Big congratulations to Margaret Brady on having been appointed as Grand Martial of the Aughrim St. Patrick’s Day parade. Well done.

GAA

We had our second outing in the Junior A. league on Sunday last against Baltinglass at home and unfortunately came up short on the day. Despite having more than our fair share of possession ,we could not convert this into scores and we also missed a number of scorable frees from a variety of free takers.  Our next match is against Shillelagh away next Saturday 31st.Please come along and support this young team.   Many thanks to Liam Keenan snr. and his pitch committee for having the pitch flagged and marked for last Sunday’s match pitch was a credit to all.
