Gardai are appealing to the public not to take vehicles out today.

Though many main roads have been cleared, secondary roads throughout the county are impassable.

Blessington Gardai have renewed their appeal asking the public to avoid taking your vehicles out today (including 4×4’s) the council and volunteers continue to work around the clock to clear the roads. Only emergency vehicles on N81. For any urgent requests please contact Blessington Garda Station on 045 857620. N81 should be open tomorrow. Stay safe and look after your elderly neighbours.
