ROADWORKS ON CHAPEL ROAD DELGANY NOW ONGOING

Wicklow County Council has advised us that road works are now ongoing on Chapel Road.

Temporary closure until Sunday,  8 April 2018.

Closure extends from Chapel Road junction with The Poplars (L10273).

To its junction with Dromont (L10272).

Diversions will be in place.

WCC extends apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused.

THROUGH ACCESS ALONG CLIFF WALK CLOSED UNTIL 30 MARCH 2018

Wicklow County Council has advised us that repairs are needed halfway along Cliff Walk.

These repairs are due to coastal erosion.

Through access is not now available.  Hopefully,  works will be concluded by this Friday.

It is possible to access the Cliff Walk from either Bray or Greystones.

But you must turn around and go back,  as you cannot walk all the way through.

VOICE IRELAND RECYCLING AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME

Many of us are confused about what can,  and cannot,  be recycled in our bins.

Symbols,  varied messages and different coloured bins have contributed to this.

VOICE Ireland’s Recycling Ambassador Programme delivers free interactive workshops.

Workshops are given to groups and can be given at local events.

These workshops give a clearer meassage of what can be recycled in our household bins.

Would your local sports club,  community group or residents association line a workshop ??

Workshop is free and interesting.

Booking details and full information from Sylvia Thompson,  sylviaethompson@eircom.net.
