Wednesday March 28


8.00 pm: Sandford Parish Church (Ranelagh) – Sandford and St Philip’s Choral Scholars & Choral Union present a performance of Sir John Stainer’s passion oratorio ‘The Crucifixion’ in Sandford Church, with Warwick Harte (Tenor), Michael Lee (Bass) and David Leigh (Organ).



Good Friday, March 30


9.30am: Rathfarnham – Ecumenical Walk with the Cross starting at Rathfarnham Church of Ireland Church.


10.00 am: Bray Head Way of the Cross – starting from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.


10.00am: Ranelagh – Ecumenical Walk Behind the Cross from the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Ave to Sandford Parish Church.


1.00pm: The Bandstand, Main Street, Arklow – Ecumenical Service.


3.00 pm: Enniskerry Ecumenical Way of the Cross beginning at St Mary’s Church, Enniskerry.


7.00 pm: Wicklow town – Ecumenical Walk of Witness starting at the Methodist Church.


7.15 pm: Christ Church Cathedral to St Mary’s Pro Cathedral – Walk of Witness led by the Church of Ireland and Catholic Archbishops of Dublin.


7.30pm: Clontarf – Ecumenical Walk from Seafield Road to St Gabriel’s Church.


Saturday March 31


6.30 pm: Paschal Service of Light, Inch Parish Church.


9.00 pm: Christ Church Cathedral – Easter Vigil



Easter Sunday, April 1


6.15am: Montpelier Hill on the R115 beside the Hell Fire Club – Ecumenical Sonrise Service.


6.30 am: South Beach Car Park, Arklow – Sonrise Service.


6.30 am: Bray Churches Together Sonrise Service, Raheen Car Park, off Newcourt Road.


6.45 am: Kill Abbey, Deans Grange – Sonrise Service.


6.45am: Bull Wall, Dollymount – Ecumenical Sonrise Service.


6.58am: Powerscourt Old Church, Powerscourt, Enniskerry – Sonrise Service.


7.00 am: Sandymount Strand (near the old swimming baths) – Ecumenical Sonrise Service.


11.00 am: Christ Church Cathedral – Festal Eucharist.


11.15 am: St Patrick’s Cathedral – Festal Eucharist.
