Xquisite ready to shine in Ireland’s Got Talent Semi Final tomorrow

There’s only one more sleep for the kids of Xquisite Dance Troupe, who will be aiming to impress the judges once again in TV3’s Ireland’s Got Talent Semi Finals tomorrow night.

Katie Goulding, Mia Jameson and Freya Roche from Rathnew, Co Wicklow are all part of Xquisite who blew the judges away during auditions with their modern take on Latin Dance — so much so that judge Denise Van Outen awarded the dancers ‘The Golden Buzzer’ (direct entry into the Semi Finals).

Wicklownews.net chatted with the Rathnew dancers ahead of their performance tomorrow to see how they have been preparing:

With only two days to go, how are you feeling about this performance on Thursday?

We are really excited for our semi final but we are a little bit nervous too!

How much preparation and training has been put in these past few weeks, have they been tough for you?

We have done lots of training and we love being with our friends and teacher, dancing and learning the new routines. The toughest part was when the ‘beast from the east’ came, our teacher and the rest of the troupe in Tallaght were snowed in so we couldn’t go training!

Would you give a hint at the sort of routine you will be performing, in what way do you think it will wow the judges/audience?

It’s brand new routine and has bits from lots of different dances in it , it’s lots of fun.

Do you have anything you’d like to say to the people of Wicklow that will be cheering for you?

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us so far and ask that everyone votes as many times as they can for us on Thursday 22nd. We want to make our county, family and friends proud and get into the final.
