Parish events

Annacurra Parish field day will take place on Sunday June 17 at 2pm in the Gaa pitch.

Annual Patron will be held in Preban graveyard on July 14 at 7 -30 pm , and Annacurra Graveyard on July 16 at 7-30 pm.

Table quiz

There will be a table quiz on Saturday May 19 in the Saltee pub starting at 8-30 pm. €10 euro per person. Proceeds in aid of Annacurra Church and Cemetery.

Community Games

Our area Athletics Finals take place on Monday 30th April in the Aughrim Community Sports Field. Registration 6pm for a 6.30pm start. All children from 6 to 16 and living in the local area are welcome. €2 per child or €5 per family.

County Wicklow Track and Field Finals take place on Saturday June 16th in Shillelagh. If you are aware that your child is unavailable for the County Finals please let us know if after they have qualified at our area finals ASAP. Thank you.

45 Card Game

45 card game will be on Friday night next April 27 starting at 8-30 pm, in the Saltee.

Gaa Lotto

Results for April 16 . No Jackpot winner. Numbers drawn 12-13-14-22. Match 3 winners, Donal and Ann Byrne, Coolbawn Upr : Ger Murphy, Dunkerrin Next weeks jackpot €1750.00 euro. Draw held in Saltee on Monday nights

Knock Shrine.

Kilaveney Parish Annual Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Saturday 30^th June and Sunday 1st July. A bus will depart from Tinahely on Saturday 30^th June at 9a.m. We will stop for a coffee break on the journey to Knock. There will be an evening meal with bed and breakfast in the Knock House Hotel. The bus will depart from Knock on Sunday 1^st July.

The cost of the bus and hotel will be based on the number of people travelling. Bookings and more information: Tel: 086 8700843. The final date for booking will be Friday 11^th May. All are welcome to participate in this pilgrimage and encouraged to join in prayer as we honour Our Lady of Knock. Members of Parishes in the surrounding areas are also welcome.
