The seniors were beaten by Avondale today. We were a few short but didn’t play badly.
We wish to send our sympathy to the the Healy family on the passing of Paddy and to the Murphy family on Mick’s passing.

Annual Walk

This years Annual Chernobyl  Walk organised by Jimmy Cullen and run in conjunction with the 4 A’s Hillwalking Club will take place on the morning of Sunday the 15th of April starting from the church car park in Annacurra. There will be a 10K walk, a 5K walk and a Family Friendly 2.5 Km loop of the Ciaran Shannon route. Registration is at 09:30 in the car park and costs €10. The walk starts at 10AM.

Runners are welcome. Dogs are not allowed on the event. Sponsorship cards and further information are available by phoning or texting Jane Cullen on 087 2703498 or by e mail tojanecullen42@gmail.com.

Proceeds raised aid specific building projects in Chernobyl and all works are carried out by Volunteers with the Children of Chernobyl Foundation (Arklow Gorey Group)

Results for  April  2 . No  winners. Numbers drawn  4-13-21-25.    Next  weeks jackpot €1450.00 euro.  Draw held in Saltee on Monday nights.

 

 45  Card Game

45 card game will be on Friday night next  April 13  starting at 8-30 pm, in the Saltee.

 

Fundraiser

Annacurra National School is holding a clothes recycling fundraiser. All types of clean, dry, men’s, women’s and children’s clothes. Bed linen, curtains, shoes/ boots in pairs. Belts, Handbags etc, are accepted. No pillows or duvets. Bags of clothes can be left into the school any time during school hours before April 23.

 

Reminder

Mass on Saturday evenings will be at 6-30.
