The first official Delgany Tidy Towns cleanup of the year is taking place on the Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd of April.
They are looking for residents to meet at The Wicklow Arms at 10.30am where they will be redirected to clear specific areas. Anyone who wants to join in will be very welcome.
Bags and litter picking equipment will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring any gardening tools they feel would be useful such as brushes, spades & trowels.
They are asking the local community to come out and get involved in helping make Delgany the best can it can be.
On Sunday 22nd at 1.30pm they will have a Thank You BBQ for the helpers in the Horse & Hound and will be giving out lots of prizes to volunteers.
