Large crowds are expected to welcome Mary Hickey home as she completes her lap of the map.
Mary left Courtown RNLI station at 10am this morning, and has now raised over €40.
She is expected to arrive at the Courthouse in Arklow for 2pm and jog down Main St all the way to Arklow RNLI where there will be a CELEBRATION of Mary completing her LAP OF THE MAP which everyone is invited to, refreshments afterwards in the Scout Hall.
We would love for the Main St. to be lined with people all the way down to Arklow RNLI so please come out and cheer for Mary!!
All those marching in the parade, please meet at the Courthouse at 1.15pm, in full uniform/club gear etc.
Runners wishing to ‘Join in’ enroute,
1. The Golden Anchor Castletown (plenty of parking)
2. Lay-by opposite Suds, on Inch/Gorey Road (Old N11) (please be waiting on left side of road heading into Arklow)
3. Along Kish Road (please not there is no parking along here)
4. Knockmore Bus Stop (again no parking)
We ask anyone planning on joining in to be mindful of where you are parking your car, carpool where possible.
