Arklow athlete Mary Hickey is on the final stretch of her epic journey the lapofthemap in aid of the RNLI.
In 10 days time Mary will arrive back in Arklow from where she set out on New Year’s day.
Today she is on a rest day but will travel from Tramore to RTE in Cork to appear on the Today show with Maura and Daithi (which airs from 3.30pm).
The Arklow native has raised almost €30,000 but you can still donate by visiting the RNLI Everyday hero website.
On Saturday the 14th of April Mary will take on the final stage of her journey from the RNLI station in Courtown and is expected to arrive in Arklow for 2pm.
