The amount raised was in excess of €3000”


Annacurra Community Playground Project 

There will be a general meeting in the Saltee on Thursday 17th May at 8pm. This meeting will give an update on the development of the playground.

Everyone welcome.


Table quiz

There will be a table quiz on Saturday May 19 in the Saltee pub starting at 8-30 pm. €10 euro per person. Proceeds in aid of Annacurra Church and Cemetery.



Wicklow Vintage Club are holding their Annual Vintage Tractor and Car Run on Sunday 13th May at 12 noon from St Kevin’s Hall Ballycoog. All are most welcome to attend and homemade refreshments will be served in the Hall afterwards


Knock Pilgrimage.

Kilaveney Parish Annual Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July.  A bus will depart from Tinahely on Saturday 30th June at 9a.m.   We will stop for a coffee break on the journey to Knock.  There will be an evening meal with bed and breakfast in the Knock House Hotel. The bus will depart from Knock on Sunday 1st July at 4p.m.


The cost of the bus and hotel will be based on the number of people travelling. Bookings and more information: Tel: 086 8700843. The final date for booking will be Friday 11th May. All are welcome to participate in this pilgrimage and encouraged to join in prayer as we honour Our Lady of Knock. Members of Parishes in the surrounding areas are also welcome.


Gaa Lotto

Results for  April  30 . No Jackpot winner. Numbers drawn 1-6-13-25.   Match 3 winner,  Mandy Burke c/o of  Gerry Doyle.   Next  week’s jackpot €2050.00 euro.  Draw held in Saltee on Monday nights.

Coffee Morning

Coffee Morning in Brian and Margaret Morans, Saturday 12th May from 10.00 am, All proceeds going to Avondale Allstars Special Olympics Club, to assist in sending Kevin and his two team mates, who have qualified to represent the Eastern Region, to the Special Olympics Ireland Games which take place in Dublin in June.  All support would be greatly appreciated.
