Concern for woman missing in Enniskerry

RTE news report a woman has been reported missing from the Enniskerry area following reports that a female pedestrian was seen being forced into a car in the area.

Jastine Valdez was last seen when she left her home near the Wicklow/Dublin border yesterday afternoon.

She was reported missing by her family late last night.

It followed reports that a woman was seen being forced into a dark coloured Nissan SUV on the R760 south of Enniskerry at around 6.15pm.

The vehicle had a registration number beginning with ‘171-D-2’.

Ms Valdez is described as being 1.52m (5ft) tall, of slight build with long black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a dark coloured jacket, a white T-shirt, grey leggings and runners.

The scene on the R760 is being preserved and diversions are in place in the area.

An incident room has been established at Bray Garda Station and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 01-6665300, on the Garda Confidential line 1800 666 111 or at any garda station.
