A National Lottery player in Co. Wicklow came just one number short of winning last night’s Lotto jackpot of a mega €7,467,712 – but still won €70,987 and a luxury holiday worth €20,000.
As part of the National Lottery’s special May Getaway promotion a Lotto player who matches five numbers and the bonus ball will top up their prize with a luxury holiday worth a sizzling €20,000.
The National Lottery is encouraging its players in the seaside town of Greystones to check their tickets to see if they have won this brilliant Bank Holiday bonus.
Last night’s Match 5 + Bonus winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at Stanley’s Newsagent’s in the Tesco Shopping Centre, Greystones, Co Wicklow.
The winning numbers were 13, 19, 30, 36, 41, 47 and the bonus was 9.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “This is great news for a lucky Wicklow person to wake up to this morning! We are asking all our players who bought Lotto tickets in Stanley’s in Greystones to check their numbers. As well as the €70,987 prize, we are sending them anywhere they want in the world with an amazing travel voucher to the value of €20,000.”
“This is the second lucky winner of the luxury voucher so far this month. We had a delighted match 5 and bonus winner from Waterford from the draw last Wednesday.”The spokesperson continued: “As the temperatures are soaring high this Bank Holiday weekend, so is the Lotto Jackpot which rolls to an estimated €8 million for next Wednesday (9th May) which will be the highest jackpot of 2018.
