Wicklow is set to enjoy some summer sunshine just in time for the bank holiday weekend.
The weather is expected to remain cool today and tomorrow but warmer conditions are expected in the county by the weekend.
Wicklow Weather predicts that a mix of cloud and sunshine will give way to widespread sunshine by Sunday/Monday and Tuesday.
“Warm sunny spells and temperatures reaching up to 19 degrees” are expected to hit Wicklow by Sunday, so it might be finally time to fire up the BBQ.
Wicklow Weather has further predicted that Monday and early next week could see a further increase in temperatures with highs of 22 degrees possible.
