Fundraiser
Franco, the proprietor of Il Barbiere Barbers Shop in Aughrim has very kindly offered to do a fundraiser for the ASD Unit in Annacurra National School. This will take place next Sunday 24th June from 12-4pm. The cost of every haircut will go to the Unit. If you do not need a haircut you can still call in make a donation if you wish.
We would ask as many people as possible for their support.
Field Day
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Field Day last Sunday. It turned out to be a lovely day and a terrific parish occasion.
A big number of people worked very hard preparing for the day and that hard work paid off.
Many people were generous with their time and talent and money. People gave spot prizes, prizes for the raffle and donated cakes, bric-a-brac and bottles. To everyone a sincere thanks. We will say more about this next week when the final tally comes in.

Ladies Day
Tickets are now on sale for the Ladies Day in The Woodenbridge Hotel on 1st July, glass of prosecco & afternoon tea, fashion shows by McMullans & Fayebella, make-up demonstrations by Beauty by Nicola & Catherina Aylward, hair demonstrations by Bernie from The Cutting Room, stylist corner, pop up beauty salon from 12-2, main event from 2-5, prizes for Best Dressed Lady, spot prizes and raffle.
A great day out, pre booking only, tickets cost €30 and are available from Veronica Carr, Linda Hannay, Niamh Armstrong, Fainche Murphy, Sara Horan Byrne & Denise Byrne. All proceed to Annacurra Community Playground Committee Ladies Day Out
Whist
There will be a whist drive in Annacurra Community Hall on Saturday night next June 30 starting at 9pm
