The man who died in Beaumount hospital after being found unconscious in the early hours of Saturday morning in Bray has been named as 45 year-old Vincent Kelly from Newtown.
Gardai are investigating all aspects of the incident to establish the cause of the man’s injuries and are viewing CCTV.
They are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of the Royal Hotel or anyone with dashcam footage prior to 2am to contact them at Bray Garda station on 01- 666 5300.
