Camille O’Sullivan sings Brel (Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray)

The Irish-French chanteuse Camille O’Sullivan returns to Mermaid this summer bringing her critically acclaimed concert of music, paying tribute to the legendary Belgian singer-songwriter Jacques Brel.

Camille performs from her album, Brel, and summons the haunting Parisian soul within Brel’s repertoire, including such favourites as “Amsterdam” and “Ne Me Quitte Pas.”

“Brel is the reason I’m a singer today – I essentially ended my career as an architect to become a performer after falling in love with singing his music” – Camille

Chameleon like, her 5-star sell-out performances include Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, La Clique and The Roundhouse. The Telegraph recently voted her one of the top 25 performances ever on the BBC’s Later With Jools Holland. Sexy, fierce & mesmerizing, Camille transforms each song into an intense, emotional experience. Expect joy & pure passion.

Tickets €25/€23 concession price.
