Bray will be transformed into a rainbow of colour this Sunday as the Lucozade Sport Colour Rush returns for a second year in a row.
Roughly 1,500 runners are expected to turn out to Ballywaltrim Park to help raise much needed funds for local football club Ardmore Rovers FC.
After a successful fist year, the multi-coloured spectacle will contribute all proceeds to the club’s ‘Armore 2020 Campaign’ to find the club a permanent home.
Despite the club running for 40 years, Ardmore FC has never had a permanent grounds and all proceeds from this multi-coloured spectacle will go towards the club’s ‘Ardmore 2020 Campaign’.
The campaign hopes to find a permanent home for the club which stands as North Wicklow’s biggest football club, providing football to 37 teams and over 25,000 hours to the community every year.
The first of two 5k fun runs will kick off at 12 noon, with a second one starting at 3pm; the first run is a family friendly run for participants from five years and up, while the later run is for youths and adults aged 13 and up.
Whether you are young or young at heart, run in to some fun on Sunday 24th June with The Lucozade Sport Colour Rush! To register or find out more about The Colour Rush head to www.thecolourrush.ie
