Over 180 jobs announced for Wicklow over three years

187 new jobs are to be created in Wicklow over the next three years by energy efficiency company Crowley Carbon.

Based in Powerscourt House in Enniskerry, Crowley Carbon specialises in offering energy efficiency solutions to businesses.

The company has said the jobs will be mainly engineering and administrative jobs.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said “It is a huge honour to be here today in what has to be the most attractive office locations in the country. The creation of 187 new jobs in Crowley Carbon is due to their vision and determination and I wish them the very best in the expansion of their company.”

The Taoiseach was joined at the launch by Fine Gael TDs Minister for Health Simon Harris and Junior Minister for Agriculture Andrew Doyle.

Minister Doyle added “The expansion of this company received support from Enterprise Ireland and it is great to see this significant boost for job creation in here Wicklow.  I must commend the team in Crowley Carbon for their continued determination and success and would like to wish them the very best in the future”.
