Support from Susan O’Neill House 33 Bodhrán Band
With 10 studio albums under her belt, Sharon continues to explore new musical fields and her latest album. Sacred Earth was voted top 5 Irish albums by US magazine, The Irish Voice.
Sharon took part in Shane MacGowan’s 60th Birthday party celebration here at the NCH in January 2018 and performed with Shane himself, Bono, Nick Cave, Johnny Depp, Imelda May and many other great names from the global music industry.

Susan O’Neill has been compared by Pure M to both Adele and Florence and the Machine and counts U2’s Bono among her fans. Her songs and live performances are incredible and she recently blew away audiences on her first national Australian tour. As well as vocals and guitar, Susan also plays trumpet and sax.

House 33 Bodhrán Band is comprised of students, staff and past pupils of St Augustine’s School in Stillorgan. Formed in 1999 by teacher Sylvia Cunningham, House 33 has grown to 20 members and has performed for President Michael D Higgins. House 33 surprised both Sharon Shannon and the audience at Temple Bar Tradfest a few years ago with an impromptu performance and Sharon has been looking forward to having them join her on stage at the NCH.
