Congratulations to the Wicklow minor footballers who caused a major upset in the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship at Parnell Park in Dublin this evening.
Wicklow went in Wicklow 2-4 to 0-4 at the break and added 2 points in the second half to Dublin’s 4.
Jason Sherlock’s side were favorites to beat Wicklow but struggled to break down a solid performance from the Garden County.

It is understood it is only the second time Wicklow have beaten Dublin the previous win was a 2-6 to 0-10 semi final win in 1997.
