With 20 exciting events stretched across the summer months, the seaside town is the place to be.
Bray is already well-known for his famous Airshow, its splendid Victorian promenade and beach and the spectacular Bray Head and Cliff Walk.
But the much-loved resort has a lot more to offer, including:
- Outdoor Movies Under the Stars
- Seafront Fun Fair
- Wings Food Fest
- Free concerts on the Band Stand on Summer Sundays
- Bray’s Colour Themed Run
- The Groove Music Festival
- Hell & Back Endurance Challenge
And if that’s not enough, Bray has plenty more to enjoy for locals and visitors alike.
A visit to the National Sea Life Centre; a host of attractive events at the Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre; outdoor sports with Bray Adventures or Tenpin Bowling at Bray Bowl.
Or course a centerpiece is Bray’s famous Blue Flag beach along with the famous Victorian promenade and Bray Head and Cliff Walk.
And there is the seafront bars, restaurants and hotels along with the vibrant town centre and its selection of shops.
“It’s shaping up to be a brilliant summer in Bray”, said Cllr Pat Vance, Cathaoirleach, Wicklow County Council, who added: “Throughout the summer months, Bray will host a number of great family-friendly events from outdoor movies on the beach to a series of free Sunday afternoon concerts on Bray bandstand, all of which should help attract more tourists to our town which, in turn, will help boost the local economy.”
