Hailing from Spain’s Comarca da Ulloa, the all-female vocal group Zoelas offer, in their own words, ‘a concert where attendees will sail among children from different countries with a common theme: feminine voices’.
Which sounds pretty poetic to us, but then, Bea García, Érica García, Carmela Mariño, Pilar Naveira, María Bouzas and Patricia Coucheiro are clearly the real deal, digging deep into their Spanish heritage, and far, far beyond.
When they talk of moitas das súas compositions inspired by pre-Roman tribes that lived in the northwest, well, you know these Spanish ladies mean business. And helping them on the night will be guitaris Bruno Vilamor, percussionist Miguel Varela and, on guitar and accordion, Michel Rivadulla.
These acclaimed Hermanas del alma española will be offering a night to remember, in more ways than one.
Sangria served.
