Thank you to everyone who supported La Le Club last Sunday. The attendance wasn’t as high as other years but everyone enjoyed the day. The under age matches were very enjoyable. After they were over the lads played a match for the Ciaran Shannon cup. Gerard Shannon presented the cup to Michael Doyle the winning captain. The day concluded with the duck race in the river. Over 450 ducks set off and congratulations to Mary Carty for winning first prize and Trish O’Keefe on winning second prize.Gaa
Mass cards for the deceased and for special intentions (mass bouquets) will be available in the sacristy.

Sr. Breda Byrne
This weekend we celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the Profession of Sr. Breda Byrne. We thank God for her witness as a religious in a world where it is becoming harder to proclaim one’s faith. We wish her every blessing for this wonderful occasion. We thank her for her service to the people of God throughout so many years. We wish her well and many happy years in the future.

Preparing for a Long Journey (Phoenix Park)
For your safety and welfare, you should plan your whole journey from the beginning of the day until you return home.
You may have to walk for a long distance over the course of the day.
You are likely to be standing for a long period of time.
The journey through the day for those attending will be long and will involve significant walks to and from the Mass depending on where you are coming from. Walking is unavoidable due to the size, scale and location of the event.
There are also a range of facilities on site to help you on the day.
Designated rest zones, food and drinks stations, medical facilities, as well as toilets and baby changing facilities are all at the venue, gates and transport hubs.
There will also be volunteers throughout the venue and special facilities for people with accessibility issues and their carers.
Details for those coming on the bus to the Phoenix Park
All Weather Wear
Food/Snacks/Water sufficient for the whole day.
Something to sit on and something to occupy your time while waiting for mass to begin (book, newspaper, magazine).
