Coláiste Ráithín school finally gets go-ahead to open

After months of uncertainty, Coláiste Ráithín secondary school has finally been given the green light to open its doors to students and staff.

Minister for Health, Simon Harris, has announced that the secondary school received certification today to declare its compliance with national safety rules and standards.

“I have just received confirmation from the Department of Education that all the various certifications for the new school have now been received and that the school can proceed with its move to its super new school building on Monday.”

The Minister went on to say “Colaiste Raithin had to wait far too long. I am so pleased that this day has finally come.”

The secondary school will open to students and staff on Monday morning.
