Dominican College Wicklow to receive funding to improve science labs

Wicklow Fine Gael TD and Minister Simon Harris announced today investment to improve Dominican College Wicklow’s science labs.

Minister Harris visited the Wicklow Town secondary school this week to congratulate Leaving Cert students on their results.

Speaking about the investment, he said: “The Dominican College is an excellent school in Wicklow Town and has served the community so well for many years.

“Obviously, as with all schools, some of its facilities require investment and upgrading and I am delighted that the Department of Education and the Government has been in a position to sanction funding to improve the science labs.

The school has a number of other important projects that it wants to advance and I look forward to working very closely with them in that regard.

“I have no doubt that this funding will make a real and meaningful difference to the education and learning experience for students in DCW and I look forward to seeing the plans to progress this investment.”
