Blainroe Golf Club win Wicklow Cup

The U-20 Blainroe Golf Club team won the Wicklow Cup last Sunday after defeating Wicklow with a decisive 4-1 score.

This is the team’s first time to win the Wicklow Cup.

With over 250 members, Blainroe Golf Club boasts one of the largest junior golf programmes in Ireland, which the club credit to “the huge work from the junior committee – in particular Olga Stones, Noelle Ryan and DJ Kenna and the coaching and mentoring from the new PGA Professional David Lewis.”

The massive victory comes as Blainroe Golf Club celebrates its 40 birthday.
