Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to the Walsh family on the death of Eileen Walsh last week. Eileen who was predeceased by her husband Wattie is mourned by her sister Maura, daughter Margaret, sons Johnny, Frank, Walter, Tony, Marty ,Andrew and Paul and many relatives. Eileen,s funeral took place in Dunlavin on Saturday August 25th 2018. May she rest in peace.

Death
The death took place at the weekend of Paddy Bowes, Boherboy. Paddy who was raised in Tinahely is mourned by his wife Laura, sons Padraig,Fergal, Enda daughters Elaine, Niamh, Lorna, Ciara and Aine, brothers and sisters and many relatives and friends. May Paddy rest in peace.

Baltinglass Credit Union will be holding their next Car/Cash Draw in the Hacketstown Sub Office on Friday 28th September @ 6.30pm. If you have not already joined this Credit Union car draw, you can do so by filling out an entry form and dropping it into any of the 6 offices. €40 per year entry fee. World Champions
Congratulations to cousins Myles and Ivan Carroll , Dunlavin on winning a World Handball Championship in America at the weekend. The lads play their handball in Ballymore -Eustace. Everyone is very proud of their achievement.
Our Lady’s Island
A Pilgrimage to Our Lady’s Island – The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 9th with the bus leaving from Centra at 4:15pm. If you are interested please contact Mary 087-6619545.
