Heavy rainfall and flooding could hit Wicklow tonight

Met Eireann are warning several counties to be prepared for heavy rain with the potential for flooding as Storm Helene approaches Ireland today.

Some of the counties expected to be hit by the 25-40mm of rain are Wicklow, Dublin, Cork, Louth, Wexford, and Waterford.

Yellow weather warnings have been issued to Galway and Mayo.
