Juvenile Gaa
Following on from their double win in the under 11 hurling finals two weeks ago, our under 11 footballers completed a treble in this age group by defeating a strong A.G.B. side in Ballinakill last Saturday morning. This was a great team performance and they ran out comfortable winners in the end. Congratulations to all the panel and mentors.
Our under 15 footballers played Tinahely last Saturday afternoon in the final of the shield competition and although they were still very much in contention going into the second half they had to give second best to a much physically stronger Tinahely side who deserved their victory on the day. This Aughrim under 15 side are near enough all eligible to play in this age group next year and the experience of getting to a final will stand to them. Well done to all.
