TINAHELY WALKING CLUB 

Details of Tinahely Walking Club Sunday walks for the next two weeks: Nov 4: Church Mountain, B, 12km, 3 hours. Meet at Tinahely at 10.00. Nov 4: Church Mountain, B, 12km, 3 hours. Meet at Tinahely at 10.00. As usual, please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear.

Annual Table Quiz

Shillelagh Area Community Games Committee will be holding their annual table quiz with raffle prizes on Fri 16th Nov @ 9pm in Parkview House, Shillelagh to raise funds for their 2019 program. Entry fee is €40 per table of four. If you don’t have a team don’t worry, they will find one for you on the night! For further details find the event on Facebook.

CANDLE OF HOPE

The Hope Cancer Support Centre would like to invite all those who have been touched by cancer (or other illnesses or loss) to join them at their annual Candle of Hope Service on Friday 2nd November in St. Aidan’s Cathedral Enniscorthy at 8pm. If you are unable to attend you can still partake by lighting your own candle and listening to South East Radio who will broadcast the service live on air.

 

BINGO 
The next bingo is on Sunday 4th November at 2.30pm in St Bridget’s Hall, Carnew all welcome.

 

SPLIT THE POT
The winner of Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew Split the Pot of 19th October was Tommy and Marie Wafer winning €256, tickets on sale from the school or local shops.

 

CABARET 
The annual cabaret for Tomacork will be held on Friday 16th November at 9pm in the usual venue, music by John Flood, admission only €5, all welcome.

 

NOVEMBER FAIR 
The annual November Fair will be held on Friday 16th November at 7pm in Carnew Community Care with the usual stalls, Boutique second hand shop, home made treats, toys, books, Brie a brac, mini raffle, monster raffle, bottle stall, all welcome admission free.

 

CARNEW PLOUGHING 
Carnew ploughing association are holding their annual ploughing match on Sunday 4th November in Coolroe at 11am on lands kindly sponsored by Kevin Doran , entries to Kevin McEvoy please.
