Gardai are investigating the theft of a generator from Coolboy Rangers soccer club.
The 6kW diesel generator was stolen from the clubs training pitch at the Redbog close to Tinahely sometime over the past five days.
Club member Philip Hamilton said ” It is very disappointing, a lot of effort has been put in to raise funds to offer the best we can to the kids who play for us.
This will effect training for the entire club with the dark evenings now coming in.
I would ask anyone who is offered a diesel generator with a 3 phase electric plug to contact the Gardai or Philip at 087-2346162 .”
