Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange warning for Wicklow as Storm Callum approaches.
The Orange warning comes into effect tomorrow at 10 pm and will last until 9 am on Friday morning.
A spokesperson for the forecaster has said that Winds will be strongest overnight and early on Friday, gusting between 110 and 130 km/h at coasts.
Wind Warnings have been issued for Storm Callum for Thursday night and Friday morning.
Orange level for coastal counties, Yellow level inland.

Heavy rain is also expected and this, coupled with Spring tides, could lead to coastal flooding.
Meanwhile, Wicklow Weather will issue another detailed update at lunchtime.
The Aughrim based forecaster said this morning that the system was proving difficult to predict.
” We are moving from our watch to alert with further room to issue a warning if required,
“The current outlook based on current data; Storm force winds of 110kmh to 125kmh along our western seaboard with stronger isolated gusts possible.”
